The creation of puppetmaster Jim Henson, Dog City ran for two seasons before being cancelled. However, fans of Henson and his living art are dedicated to his characters. Dog City is the fictional landscape where canine animator Eliot Shag draws his own figures in the form of Ace Hart, private detective. The series follows Ace as he solves mysteries with the help of Eliot's capable pen. Much Ado About Mad Dog tells of the mishaps that occur when Mad Dog owes Ace a favor for saving his life. Dog City features both puppetry and animation.
