Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
After his alcoholic father dies, a little 12-year-old boy decides to leave home and he wanders through the countryside, coming across all manner of people -- from those who are kind or at least, friendly, to those who would just as soon manipulate him for their own purposes. As he covers the mountainous terrain in southwest Yugoslavia, he comes to feel more at home with his surroundings and starts to figure out some way to settle in the region.
