Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
The phobias and imaginings of a man inside his apartment in Vienna assume a solid visual and audio presence in this surreal film. As he opens up his living room door, a field spreads out before him and Death addresses the time and nature of the man's demise. On another occasion, a sea appears beyond a doorway, and on another, the sketches the man draws become animated. These strange happenings continue for 92 minutes, and, considering their inscrutable nature, that is probably a bit longer than most viewers will find reasonable.
