Fifteen years after her notorious feature debut Boxing Helena turned into a litigious public fiasco, filmmaker, recovering addict, and devoted mother Jennifer Lynch travels to India to direct a movie about an alluring snake goddess, and finds herself on the verge of a nervous breakdown as the production runs off the rails. Her relationship with the Indian crew rapidly deteriorating, the exhausted director does her best to hold the production together and communicate effectively with her high-powered Bollywood stars.
