Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
After years of enduring ridicule by his fellow villagers, the seriously buck-toothed man in this story listens to the advice of his mother and seeks out and marries a blind woman. Then he wonders, "what if she can see?" After a long time together, he finally seeks out a flawed but very powerful healer, who restores his wife's sight. When she first sees him, she laughs at his teeth, but she has also grown to love him, and the two go happily off together.
