As directed by Julio Bracho, this Spanish-language sports drama follows the journey of Rogelio Ramirez, a stock car driver pursuing the elusive championship title in Mexico. At the outset, the prior season's winning team, Herdez Quaker, invites Rogelio to join their ranks - which would give him a chance to compete in other countries. This presents Rogelio with a crisis of conscience, however: seizing the opportunity will mean interacting with shady characters and betraying the individuals who helped him get to where he is.
