Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
Rob Van Eyck is a self-taught director who made this revenge story on a budget of $40,000. The tale begins with a man named Vincent (Roland Frederickx) who comes back home to his native village after serving seven years of jail time for the murder and rape of a local girl. Vincent was unjustly imprisoned for the crime, and he is bent on exposing the true killers to clear his name. Before the film reaches its climactic gunfight (a night scene that is hard to make out), scenes of sodomy and vicious cock fights pass before one's eyes, scenes that make inner city life seem almost saintly.
