Synopsis by Hal Erickson
An actress who billed herself only as Karina is the star of the British romantic melodrama Dawn. Karina plays a greedy socialite who arranges a wealthy marriage for her lover. Once the knot is tied, Karina's swain laughingly announces that he hasn't the slightest intention of sharing his riches. A few moments later, he isn't laughing any more; the scorned Karina has murdered him. Dawn was based on a novel by H. Rider Haggard, of She and King Solomon's Mines fame.
