synopsis
A very young Esther Ralston played the female lead in this obscure silent Western produced and directed by Clifford S. Smith for Associated Photoplays. A purveyor of cheap action fare, Smith aligned himself with a couple of specialists of the genre for this and other Westerns, including Pete Morrison, a real-life cowboy from Colorado, busy screenwriter L. V. Jefferson, and popular villain Lew Meehan. Ralston became a star playing Mrs. Darling in Peter Pan (1923) and later proved to be one of the brightest stars of the '20s, especially in light comedies.
