synopsis
In this British-made romantic drama about elderly people finding each other, Jean Simmons plays a gentle, kind-hearted librarian who is spending the weekend at a seaside resort hotel. Joss Ackland is a crotchety, widowed stockbroker who hates being around old people but, against his better judgement, finds himself attracted to the lady librarian.
