Synopsis by Nathan Southern
Oscar-winner Kevin Kline returned to his stage roots in the late 2000s for an elaborate production of Edmond Rostand's bittersweet drama Cyrano de Bergerac at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway; a film of that production appears in this exclusive release. The familiar tale - which tells of the big-nosed yet deeply romantic and poetic Cyrano, his love for Roxane, and his decision to feed lines to her through a more handsome suitor - receives new life in this version translated by Anthony Burgess and directed onstage by David Leveaux. Jennifer Garner co-stars as Roxane, with Daniel Sunjata as her suitor, Christian.
