Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

In his first year as a Western star, Buddy Roosevelt usually played characters named "Buddy." In this minor silent Western, "Buddy" is on trial for a murder he didn't commit, but he escapes from the courtroom to track down the real killer, nasty Bud Osborne. Roosevelt, whose real name was Kenneth Sanderson, was named in honor of the 26th president of the U.S., Theodore Roosevelt. Despite the lofty moniker, Roosevelt didn't amount to much despite being a fine actor. Like most of his colleagues, Roosevelt was defeated by miniscule budgets and indifferent direction.
