Synopsis by Josh Ralske

Cheryl's (Cheryl Hines) aunt has died, and her whole family is in L.A. for the funeral, including Cheryl's sister, Becky (Kaitlin Oslon), and Becky's boyfriend, Craig (Craig Anton). Craig approaches Larry (Larry David), thanks him for paying for their hotel room, and confides in him that he was planning to break up with Becky just before they got the news of her aunt's suicide. He asks Larry what the appropriate waiting period is to break up with her. Larry says since it was just her aunt that died, Craig can break up with Becky when they get back home to Florida. Cheryl's parents (Paul Dooley and Julie Payne), meanwhile, are disappointed because there's no obituary in the local paper. Larry mentions that his manager, Jeff (Jeff Garlin), knows someone at the paper, and says he'll take care of it. "It's not going to be funny, is it?" asks Cheryl's mom. Larry meets Jeff for lunch and dictates the obit to him. In Jeff's ongoing effort to smooth things over between his parents and Larry, he asks Larry to get his mother (Mina Kolb) a birthday gift, and Larry agrees. Later, at home, Larry learns that Craig broke up with Becky when they got back to the hotel after the funeral. He feigns ignorance and leaves the family gathering to get the birthday gift. He returns to find Cheryl's family angry with him. The newspaper has printed the obituary with an obscene and embarrassing typo. When Becky enters and tells everyone that Larry told Craig to break up with her, Cheryl kicks him out of the house. Jeff invites him to stay over, and Jeff's mother seems pleased by his gift -- a pair of sunglasses. Things take an odd turn, however, when Jeff's mom accuses Larry of touching her "bosom."
