Anyone who thought that the Rubik's Cube had gone the way of the pet rock is sure to be dumbfounded by this documentary from first-time filmmaker Richard LeBlanc. Intrigued by his sister's anecdote about the important role that Hungarian architecture professor Erno Rubik's multi-colored mechanical puzzle played in her childhood, LeBlanc discovers a global community of Rubik's Cube enthusiasts, and turns his camera on the world championship event in which players attempt to solve the puzzle as quickly as possible.
