Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

At a time when some feel that technology is driving us farther apart rather than bringing us closer together, young filmmaker Joseph Garner cuts his ties with friends and family to see if he can survive using nothing but Craigslist for a full month. These days, it feels as if we've become so fixated on the smart phones, computers, and tablets we constantly use that we've lost the ability to look others in the eye, and form a real connection. As the sense of community that Americans once enjoyed seems to become a relic of the recent past, Garner wonders if perhaps it hasn't gone away, but simply taken a different form in the digital age. Now with his pockets empty, his phonebook blank, and nothing to fall back on but the grace of stranger, Garner will strike out on his own, and put that theory to the ultimate test.
