Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Director Paul Perrier investigates the remarkable power of addiction by examining the curious case of a regular girl who was raised in a loving household, attended the right schools, and made the all right friends, yet still become a crack addict willing to sell her body in order to feed her self-destructive habit. There are many preconceived notions about drug addicts, and Lisa seems to shatter every one. So how does a girl who had such a "normal" childhood fall into such a tragic cycle? Now 37, Lisa is an estranged mother, crack addict, and prostitute. By forcing the audience to see the reality of Lisa's life firsthand, Perrier challenges the viewer to reassess common stereotypes involving drug addicts and their lifestyles.
