In California and Nevada, ranchers rely on grazing areas which are increasingly threatened by many groups, including environmentalists. This video uses graceful images of the seasonal activities of the ranchers to examine the various factors which are infringing on public lands. The plight of these ranchers is evocatively examined, and ultimately, what is presented is a plea for the preservation of a traditional way of life.
