Synopsis by Alice Duncan
Jean-Michel Cousteau and the crew of his windship, Alcyone, go deep below the surface of the ocean to explore the Ashmore Reef off the western coast of Australia. On land, Australia is known for its amazing array of remarkable plants and unusual animals - and its underwater sights and wildlife are equally spectacular. Creatures such as elephantine dugongs, mammoth grouper fish, dolphins, rock lobsters, and sea snakes are filmed in their natural habitat. Narrated by Mel Gibson.
