Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Glen Manley (Hal Cooley) believes that both his parents are dead. However, his mother, Mayda St. Maurice (Eugenie Forde) is very much alive and is working as a courtesan so that her son can have every material advantage. Manley winds up running for district attorney against Murdock Granby, Jr. (William Carroll), who is the son of a political grafter (Charles Wheelock). The Granbys play dirty by attempting to create a scandal around Manley and trick him into going to Mayda's apartment. When he arrives there, so do the Granbys, the police, and a group of reporters. But in front of this throng, the truth -- and then some more truth -- comes out. Not only is Mayda Manley's mother, she also proves that she is married to Granby, Sr., which makes Granby, Jr. and Manley brothers. The courtesan dies, leaving quite an interesting mess behind her.
