Synopsis by Janiss Garza

When Dr. Ned Reed (Arthur Mathews) is advised to go to the northwest for his health, he brings along his wife Ethel (Justina Huff). It turns out that their cabin is near the home of Travis, a former suitor of Ethel's (Edgar Jones). While the doctor concentrates on his work, Travis spends his time trying to win back Ethel's affections. Reed figures this out, and realizes that his frailty does not compare favorably with Travis's manly physique. But Travis has a secret -- he killed Reed's brother -- and his cabinmate, Rogers (Louis Marlette), threatens to tell the doctor. Travis and Rogers become mortal enemies and they fight it out on a cliff above the cabin. Travis shoots Rogers and believes he has killed him. Haunted by the murder he goes back to the cabin and fires a shot which causes a small landslide. Rogers' body falls at his doorstep and Travis shoots himself. Reed finds that Rogers is still breathing and saves his life. Ethel realizes how foolish she's been, and that her husband, weak as he is, is a real man.
