Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A promiscuous and aloof young woman spends her days pining for a local surfer and fending off her oppressive sisters in this short film from director Dianne Bellino. Nicknamed an eponymous moniker by her malicious sisters -- a combination of two derogatory words normally associated with females -- Slitch encounters a local surfer who remains oblivious to her sexual advances due to his obsession with catching the perfect wave. Nevertheless, the sexually obsessed Slitch remains steadfast in her determination to bed the surfer, no matter how unlikely the prospect seems to become. Music is provided by Continental Op, a collaborative project between musicians Dave Pajo and Will Oldham.
