Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
This British documentary tells the story of Chilean folksinger, composer and political activist Victor Jara, one of Salvador Allende's supporters, who was killed by the same military junta which murdered Allende. Enriched by numerous interviews with Jara's widow, the singer is shown as a martyr in the fight against Chilean fascism.
