Harold Lockwood and May Allison were teamed once more in the buoyant little Metro actioner The Come Back. Lockwood plays Burt Ridgeway, the scapegrace son of lumber magnate Randall Ridgeway (George Henry). Promising not to return home until he "makes good," Burt assumes a phony name and takes a job at one of his dad's lumber camps. Here he is robbed, beaten and bullied, but he continues to resiliently bounce back from adversity. In so doing, he wins the love of down-to-earth heroine Patta Herbetson (Allison) and the everlasting respect of his father.
