Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The 60-minute Come Back, Little Reba offers an urban slant to the traditional "boy and his dog" story. Reba is an ageing pooch, the pet and best friend of a young black boy. When Reba runs off, the boy is beside himself. The film shows just how a dog on its own manages to survive, and how the master copes with its loss. Come Back, Little Reba is eminently suitable for school or church-basement showings.
