Synopsis by Mark Deming
Colosseum were one of the more interesting and influential groups to come out of the British progressive rock scene, combining elements of blues and modern jazz into their sound, but after releasing only three albums the group split up in 1971. In 1994, Colosseum staged a well received reunion tour of Europe, and this documentary chronicles the tour's stop in Cologne, Germany. Selections include "For Those About To Die," "Rope Ladder to the Moon," "Skellington," "January's Search," "February's Valentine," and more.
