Closed Circuit is the English-language title of the Czechoslovakian Uzavreny Okruh. Pavel Visnovsky plays the central character, a pro-environment activist. Unable to stop construction of a metallurgical plant, he tries to reason with the people working there. The activist falls in love with the daughter (Veronika Jenikova) of the plant's designer. Their relationship, alas, is doomed from the start.
