Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith
In the 1966 World Series, the Baltimore Orioles beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in four straight games. For the Orioles, both Frank Robinson and Brooks Robinson displayed outstanding hitting and fielding skills throughout the series. Even relief pitcher Moe Drabowsky turned in a top performance. Unfortunately, as the featured game clips reveal, this was definitely not a stellar series for the Dodgers. Their scoreless innings and limited runs scored caused them to set some World Series records that no team will ever want to match.
