Part of the Classic Tales video series for children, which uses animation to tell a favorite story from English literature, Classic Tales: Black Beauty re-creates author Anna Sewell's tale of the life of a courageous black horse. Viewers experience Black Beauty's happy days befriending an ailing child, as well as his darker ones, working for the thieves who stole him from his owners. In the end, it's up to Black Beauty to save the day and the people he loves so dearly.
