Civil War Journal: Stonewall Jackson on AllMovie

This video is part of an acclaimed series from The History Channel that chronicles the American Civil War. The series uses archival photographs, diaries, articles, re-enactments, and scholarly commentary to tell the story of the War Between the States. Southern military hero Stonewall Jackson, named for his reputation of standing like a stone wall against Union troops, is the subject of this volume. It was said that no Union weapon could kill Jackson. His demise by a stray Confederate bullet was a blow to the South, but only enhanced the mythic stature of the man.
