Preserving the Past follows soldiers marching into the battlefields of the Civil War to examine the pivotal campaigns and the sacrifices men made there. This program features events from Gettysburg, Cross Keys, Chantilly, Fort. Sumter, Antietam, and Appomattox, and many other battlefields, we see who and was vanquished and who victorious. We also learn about new campaigns against modern development. This video shows on-site reenactments and detailed descriptions of how modern day historians are leading the charge to preserve America's heritage.
