Bad business leads to murder in the A&E program City Confidential: Phoenix. On New Year's Eve in 1980, Pat Redmond, his wife, and mother-in-law were attacked in their own home. Only the mother survived in what police soon suspected was a hired hit. Using her testimony, investigators found the actual killers, but they were on the lookout for the mastermind behind the plot. They found their suspect in Pat's business partner, Ron Lukezic. But despite their convincing evidence, Lukezic went unpunished. A&E learns why, after these shocking murders, the Arizona city was never quite the same.
