Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

A New England housewife in the throes of a mid-life crisis coerces her husband into making a shady real-estate deal in this darkly comic drama from co-writer and director Jay Alaimo. As the locals in Copper Canyon begin to profit from the housing boom, Georgie Lent (Kyra Sedgwick) senses that she and her husband Roger (Vincent D'Onofrio) are about to miss out on something big. Determined to recapture the ambition they shared back when they first fell in love, she goads Roger into seeking out a viable investment opportunity in the market bubble. When Roger crosses paths with drug-dealing tennis pro Pat (Rhys Coiro) it looks like the perfect opportunity to cement their financial futures. Meanwhile, middleman Doug inadvertently puts Roger and Pat in a particularly difficult situation, and Roger's daughter Cynthia contends with the embarrassment of hiding her first menstrual cycle during an important swim meet. Tom Sizemore and Elisabeth Röhm co-star.
