synopsis
Chip Bennett (Johnny Mack Brown) is foreman at the Flying U ranch. There. That explains the title. Anyway, Chip is accused of a string of robberies, but clears himself with the aid of comical sidekick Fuzzy Knight. A topical note is introduced by having the villains in the employ of an unnamed foreign government (those accents sound awfully Teutonic). Chip of the Flying U was directed by Ralph Staub, better known as the mentor of Columbia's Screen Snapshots short-subject series.
