Bernard Balteau's documentary Children Without a Shadow relates the remarkable story of Shaul Harel, a Belgian Jew who at the age of four was hidden by various families during the Third Reich. Thanks to the sacrifice of numerous families of various faiths, Harel survived the war, and went on to become one of the most admired pediatric neurologists of his time.
