Produced, directed, and written by the ubiquitous Robert J. Horner, this obscure, no-budget silent Western starred Pawnee Bill, Jr. An attractive newcomer in the overcrowded independent Western field of the late 1920s, Pawnee Bill, Jr. was in reality former Universal star Ted Wells, now freelancing, whom Horner had gotten on the cheap. Everything about the notorious, one-legged/one-eyed Horner was shoddy and cheap, except, perhaps, his stock company of veteran supporting actors, which this time included Bud Osborne, William Nestell, and stunt woman-turned-leading lady Ione Reed.
