synopsis
Guest star Dick Cavett encourages Sam (Ted Danson) to write his autobiography. Though jealous that Cavett cannot recognize her own literary skills, Diane (Shelley Long) offers her services as Sam's ghost writer. Meanwhile, Norm (George Wendt) tries to extinguish an old flame (Walter Olkewicz) of his estranged wife Vera.
