synopsis
Carla (Rhea Perlman) wants to win the dance contest at the annual Boston Boppers reunion, but her partner of choice, ex-husband Nick (Dan Hedaya), already has a date (his wife). Intending to show Nick up, Carla chooses another partner, who is unfortunately sidelined by an injury. Thus it comes to pass that loyal old Sam (Ted Danson) escorts Carla to the dance floor.
