synopsis
Ex-convict Andy Schroeder (Derek McGrath), Diane's disastrous blind date in the first-season episode "Diane's Perfect Date," returns to Cheers -- to rob the joint. When it turns out that Andy is merely homesick for prison life, Diane (Shelley Long) tries to turn his life around by introducing him to the art of acting. Alas, Andy's first stage appearance -- with Diane as his co-star -- is merely an excuse to violently come to terms with his achy-breaky heart.
