Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
This film is perhaps the communist Czech version of a cowboy drama. It is set in 1948, when west European and American governments and organizations reportedly supported guerilla revolutionary activity in Eastern Bloc countries. As this was certainly true in Greece and Yugoslavia, it is not hard to believe that such activities also took place in Czechoslovakia. In the film, a good communist lawman hunts down and kills rightist paramilitary guerillas.
