Synopsis
Three Arab New Yorkers confront life in the wake of 9/11 and find it difficult. Police officer Ahmed Nasser, a Yemeni native, saw the horror up close: He was assigned to Ground Zero. Journalist Raghida Dergham, who covers the UN for the Arabic newspaper Al-Hayat, sees Arabs and the West talking past each other. (She also has a personal problem: She's under indictment for treason in her native Lebanon.) And Rev. Khader El-Yateem, a Palestinian, worries about his family still in the Middle East.
