J.D. Salinger is one of literature's most notorious recluses who wrote a classic American novel, The Catcher in the Rye, and thereafter left the public eye after 1965. This documentary follows French author Frédéric Beigbeder as he seeks out Salinger and, along with it, the font of his own artistic aspirations.
