Hack writer Goran (Sebastijan Cavazza) wanders into a run-down bar near the town railroad station looking for material. He finds it in the person of the beautiful but alcoholic Carmen (Natasa Barbara Gracner), and her dissolute friends, all of them small-time criminals. He joins them in their petty thieveries and, against the advice of everyone who knows her, also starts a romantic relationship with Carmen.
