American soldiers defending freedom in the Middle East survive an attack by the desert's most terrifying predator, but realize their nightmare is only beginning after the creepy crawlies hitch a ride back home to the United States. Just when the brave soldiers though the Taliban was their greatest enemy, massive arachnids known as camel spiders emerge from the sand to make their lives a living hell. Miraculously, the soldiers manage to fight back the deadly insects, and make it back home to the American southwest. But no sooner has Capt. Sturges (Brian Krause) pulled into his driveway than the camel spiders strike back with a vengeance. Now, with the help of the local sheriff (C. Thomas Howell), a group of terrified locals, and some tourists whose relaxing vacation just got cut short, Capt. Sturges prepares to show these scurrying beasts who's boss.
