Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
The eighth of ten Jack Hoxie Westerns released by Universal in 1925, this film tells a tale of a rancher who is swindled out of his valuable property by a despicable attorney. Rancher Hoxie had refused to sell his land to old man Merritt (Alfred Allen), but Merritt's lawyer (William Norton Bailey) finds a loophole in the law and Hoxie loses the ranch anyway. In the end, Jack not only regains his property, he also marries Merritt's pretty daughter, Helen (Helen Lynch).
