The jokey title Buddha Never Said There'd Be Days Like This tends to obscure the gruesomer aspects of this dark comedy. A Buddhist priest encourages his flock into some pretty anti-social behavior. But bluntly, this misguided guru recommends cannibalism. Two nonplussed hunters stumble into this situation; before long, they've been reclassified as the blue plate special. Finding this one will require a bit of detective work, since the film has been withdrawn from active distribution.
