Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The title of The Bridal Chair alludes to the fact that the heroine, Sylvane Sheridan (Miriam J. Sabbage), is a cripple, confined to a wheelchair. Sheridan's faithful fiance C. M. Hallard refuses to break up his wedding plans, despite temptation from several available young ladies. Hallard vows that he will never marry another so long as Sheridan is alive. The Bridal Chair was cowritten by director G. B. Samuelson and Roland Pertwee, both of whom were on the threshold of lengthy, profitable careers in the British film industry.
