synopsis
This Swedish production gives a good behind-the-scenes view of genius at work when an opera director decides to be innovative. Although his opera company is somewhat rigid and traditional, he decides to do a new version of Mozart's Don Giovanni. Conservative they may be, but as the members of the company begin to understand what he is attempting, they are not hide-bound enough to quibble with genius. An interesting view of the machinations behind artistic productions.
