synopsis
En route to a desert hospital, Jason McCord (Chuck Connors) and woman doctor Evelyn Cole (Carole Rossen) rescue a wounded Cavalry officer (Joseph Perry). Taking a rest stop at a way station, Jason and Everlyn hope to quench the officer's thirst with some well water. Unfortunately, the station has recently been decimated by an Indian raid--and the well might have been poisoned in the process. Prolific character actor Walter Burke chews the scenery in his customary fashion as the half-deranged Luke.
