When powerful business magnate Sartaj Rana (Raj Babbar) hires Singh to look after his daughter Divya (Kareena Kapoor) while she's away at school, the bodyguard handles his latest assignment with the utmost professionalism. But having a well-dressed, intimidating man watching her every move makes campus life a bit dreary for Divya, so in order to distract him, the crafty student pens him a slew of love letters while posing as his secret admirer. Incredibly, her plan works, and she starts to see a side of Singh that she never knew existed.
