Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Joel Gilbert's documentary Bob Dylan: World Tours 1966-1974 utilizes the photographs of Barry Feinstein to tell the tale of this productive portion of Dylan's lengthy career. Paying special attention to the legendarily hostile 1966 tour in which Dylan played as much electric rock & roll as he did acoustic folk music, the film also chronicles his 1974 shows. Interviews with those who were a part of the scene help fill in the years between. This film does not contain live concert footage of Dylan, nor does it contain any Dylan music on the soundtrack.
